Now that we're past Labor Day weekend, the kids are back in school, the trees are hinting at changes in color and the weather has started to cool off finally (at least this week!). With things quieting down and days starting to slowly get shorter we're in our Fall routine.
The Drunken Minnow Grill is closed for the season. We thank everyone who came our to support the newest venture. We'll be hard at work looking for new drink and foods to offer next year to quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger. Watch the website for the opening date in 2019 - it'll be around May 1st weather permitting. Lil' Papa Joe's Restaurant will remain open throughout the winter so come out and support Dena and her great staff!
SHRINK WRAPPING BOATS - We are now offering shrink wrapping of boats! The cost is $12/foot. If you are interested contact the store for details and to it set up. We recommend pulling your batteries and storing them in a warm place for the winter to avoid buying a new one in the spring! If you'd like us to pull them, let us know.
The hours are slowly shortening at the Marina Store - this week we start opening at 7:30 am and now close most days at 3:00 - 3:30pm. Fridays and Saturdays we're open later to get people checked in the motel and campground - usually until 6:00pm but if it's quiet we may close earlier. Call before you come down. We have after hours phone coverage so if you're on property and you need something, just give a call on the motel number and it will forward.
Season Closing for the marina, motel and campground will be the first weekend in November. All seasonal campers will need to be off their sites and have everything cleared by November 4th. This means all restrooms and water will be shut off at the marina, ramp and campground after this date so plan accordingly. Boats in the marina not on lifts will need to be out of the water by the end of the month and then only seasonal slip holders will be allowed on the docks after the marina store closes during the winter. Access to any part of the property may be closed at times as we work on our winter maintenance and expansion projects.
Renewal invoices for the 2019 season will be going out in December and all payments will be due by January 31st in order to keep your current slip/site. We have long waiting lists for 20' & 24' slips and seasonal campsites so PLEASE let us know if you will not be renewing next year as soon as possible. After January 31st we will begin to contact our waiting lists to offer openings. Be sure to watch your email. If we don't hear back we'll move on to the next person on the list.
Thank you for your business throughout the year! Come out and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather while it lasts!
