Just a quick update. Water is right at 706 and water surface temp is falling now at 72 degrees.
Many would think that fishing slows in the fall. Nothing could be further from the truth. As the end of the year draws near Ken and Cathy have made great strides in making Sterett Creek marina the best experience visitors to Truman lake could imagine. We have several weeks of great fishing ahead!!!!!
The later part of this week Wednesday thru Sunday air temps are going to get in the 40 at night and high 50's during the day. The whites and some hybrids are already on the banks and with this cooler weather it is going to get better and better each day. The cooler the water gets the more big fish that will move shallow to feed. You can expect literally 100 fish days for whites with some good hybrids as a bonus. Not to mention a large mouth bite also and maybe walleye. The fall feed-up is truly some of the hottest fishing action of the year, and will last until surface water temps drop below 50 degrees. The real great thing is that most of this action is on top water baits. I have two days open this week, and two days open next week if you want to get in on some of the fastest fishing action of the year gimme a call at 660-525-0692.
See ya on the water!!!!!!
